Right of Withdrawal

As a consumer (§ 13 BGB), you have the right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason in text form (e.g. by letter, fax, e-mail), via the dedicated online withdrawal button ("Withdraw Contract") or, if the goods are delivered to you before the expiry of the deadline, by returning the goods.

The withdrawal period is fourteen days from the day on which you or a third party named by you, who is not the carrier, have or has taken possession of the goods or, in the case of partial deliveries, the last goods.

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us of your decision to withdraw from this contract by means of an unequivocal statement.

To do this, simply use the withdrawal button "Withdraw Contract" in the footer of our website, accessible at https://www.swm-maschinen.de/en/withdrawal/. Please enter your order number and the e-mail address used when placing the order.

To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.

Effects of Withdrawal

If you withdraw from this contract, we shall reimburse to you all payments received from you, including the costs of delivery (with the exception of the supplementary costs resulting from your choice of a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us), without undue delay and in any event not later than fourteen days from the day on which we are informed about your decision to withdraw from this contract. We will carry out such reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of such reimbursement.

We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back or you have supplied evidence of having sent back the goods, whichever is the earliest.

You shall send back the goods or hand them over to us without undue delay and in any event not later than fourteen days from the day on which you communicate your withdrawal from this contract to us. The deadline is met if you send back the goods before the period of fourteen days has expired.

You will bear the direct cost of returning the goods. The costs are estimated at a maximum of approximately EUR 250.00.

If you are unable to return the received goods or services in whole or in part, or only in a deteriorated condition, you may have to pay compensation for the value lost. You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from the handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods. This may mean that you still have to fulfill the contractual payment obligations for the period up to the withdrawal. In the case of the surrender of items, this does not apply if the deterioration of the item is exclusively due to its inspection – as it would have been possible for you in a retail shop. In addition, you can avoid the obligation to pay compensation for value lost due to deterioration caused by the intended use of the item by not using the item as your own property and by refraining from anything that impairs its value.
