Note on the Packaging Act

Under the Packaging Act, we are obliged to inform our customers about the options for returning packaging that is not subject to system participation and the purpose of this, in accordance with Section 15 (1) sentence 1 of the Packaging Act, to take back such packaging and to ensure that it is reused or recycled. We hereby wish to fulfill this obligation.

The following packaging is covered by this:

• Transport packaging (transport packaging is packaging that facilitates the handling and transport of goods in such a way that direct contact and transport damage are avoided and is typically not intended for transfer to the private end consumer, such as pallets, etc.)
• Sales and outer packaging that is not typically discarded as waste by private end consumers after use.

If appropriate packaging material is used for the delivery of a product, we will take it back free of charge. Please note, however, that you are responsible for the costs of returning the packaging material to us. The decision as to whether packaging is returned or disposed of independently is made solely by the customer.

By providing information about the return options, we aim to achieve better results in the return of packaging and to contribute to the fulfillment of the European recycling targets in accordance with EU Directive 94/62/EC. In this way, we ensure that the packaging material is returned to the recycling cycle. Purpose of the return: By returning the packaging, you are helping to ensure that undamaged packaging can be reused. Where possible, we recycle damaged packaging or dispose of it properly.

All packaging materials and packaging aids used in our machines are recyclable and must always be recycled. The packaging wood can be disposed of or recycled. The cardboard packaging components can be shredded and added to the waste paper collection. The films are made of polyethylene (PE) and the padding parts are made of polystyrene (PS). These materials can be reused after processing if they are taken to a recycling center or your local waste disposal company.

We will then provide you with the details of a municipal collection point or a waste disposal company in your area that will accept the packaging free of charge. If this is not possible, you have the option of returning the packaging material free of charge to our warehouse in 74821 Mosbach or sending it to us at your expense. We will reuse the packaging or dispose of it in accordance with the regulations of the Packaging Ordinance. It is essential that you only pass on packaging material that has been sorted by type so that it can be directly reused.

If it is not a private household, different agreements will be made regarding the place of return and the cost arrangement.

With regard to sales packaging that we fill with goods for the first time and deliver to private end consumers, our company has joined the nationwide return system of Landbell AG, Mainz, to ensure compliance with our legal obligations under § 6 VerpackV.
